The price of the sim card is € 6,70, which includes € 6 credit. Extra credit can be purchased from the above-mentioned retailers, or at lataa.saunalahti.fi. The site lataa.saunalahti.fi accepts Visa and Mastercard and regularly has special offers not available from retailers. No registration or ID required.
SIM sizes
- Mini SIMs exist.
- Micro SIMs available with Saunalahti Prepaid "Erikoispainos" (Special edition). Starter pack comes preloaded with 6,60€. Unlimited data at 0,66€ / day. Special pricing available only with devices with Micro SIM slot. Available only at Elisa ShopIt stores. Also found at R-Kioski in Helsinki airport Arrivals terminal. Speed cap 14 Mbps (writer's own experience finds speed capped at 4 Mbps). (Confirmed June 2013 that HSDPA provides 4Mbps with this microSIM kit.) Source

DNA Super Prepaid
DNA Super Prepaid is a SIM card with voice, SMS, MMS, and metered data. http://www.dna.fi/Yksityisille/puhe/Sivut/dna-prepaid.aspx
Currently (Feb 2013) DNA Super Prepaid starter packs cost EUR 7.90 including EUR 7 of credit (for voice, SMS/MMS, or data). Basically this means it will be good for 3 days' worth of data transfer without reloading.
Super prepaid also works abroad (i.e., outside Finland) for calls and SMS, at higher rates, although outgoing calls need to be done using USSD codes, so you can use up any remaining credit after leaving the country.
